It took me 4 years to become a Senior Engineer. I rose from the youngest at my team at Apple to become a technical lead on a project. This service is to talk to you about why you might be struggling to get promoted or be recognized at work and what you can do to fast-track your career. If you are just starting out and want to get promoted to that level as fast as possible at a top tier tech company, I will give you the blueprint to do so. We will discuss the mentality, what resources to read, how to be a professional, and most importantly, how to gain respect, even in a team of engineers who are 10+ years your senior. Agenda: 1) We will review your current career path and what issues you are facing in regards to promotion, performance improvement plans (PIP), and code quality. 2) We will discuss any technical issues in regards to design or your current code base. 3) We talk about strategies and tactics to build a great reputation at your company. Reputation is everything! Please bring questions!
